EditorLayout Controls
Padding
Inner margin between the layout and the page edges.
Padding moves the layout block away from the page edge.
It is the edge-space control: useful when a spread needs more breathing room or when important details feel too close to trim risk.
How to Think About It
- use it when the spread needs more breathing room near the trim
- use it with the safe-zone guide when faces, hands, or small details feel too close to the risky edge
- remember that padding changes the outer margin, not the space between photos
Padding is where clean borders come from. Gap controls the space between photos. Safe zone tells you where the danger starts.
