Albums Area

Browse albums, switch views, and start the next project.

The albums area is where the dashboard becomes useful fast. You can scan what already exists, switch the browsing style, and start the next album without leaving the page.

What Lives in This Section

At the top of the section, Spreadu shows:

  • the Albums heading
  • the current album count
  • the list/grid view toggle
  • the Create Album button

Below that, the album cards or rows show the actual project entries.

View Mode

The dashboard supports two ways of browsing albums:

  • Grid for a more visual, card-based view
  • List for a denser, faster scan

Your chosen view mode is remembered locally in the browser, so the dashboard comes back the same way next time on that device.

Create Album

The Create Album button in the top-right corner is the main starting point for a fresh project.

  • Use it when you are creating a fresh album.
  • Use the existing album cards when you want to continue a project that already exists.

Live Behavior

The album list is live. It is not a dead page you have to keep refreshing.

  • Loading states appear while album data is still being fetched.
  • Empty states appear when no albums exist yet.
  • Error states are surfaced directly in the section if the list cannot load.
  • Album changes refresh in real time, so the list stays current across tabs and devices.

What This Section Is For

Use the dashboard album list when you want to:

  • open an existing album quickly
  • see how many active projects already exist
  • switch between a visual and denser browsing mode
  • start a brand new album

If you already know which album you need, the next stop is usually the album overview page.
