Billing & Plans
The current subscriptions route for plan status, upgrades, billing actions, invoices, and credit purchases.
The real billing surface is /dashboard/subscriptions.
That page is where you see whether access is active, what plan you are on, how much storage comes with it, and what needs attention next.

What The Page Actually Contains
- A stats row for plan, status, album allowance or credits, storage, and AI photo usage
- An alert banner when the account is trialing, paused, overdue, canceled, or simply missing a plan
- A billing bar that opens the billing portal when there is something to manage
- A plan picker with the real plan cards and switch logic
- Recent invoices when invoice history exists
- Album credit purchases when credit-based purchases exist
The Plans Users See
Right now the dashboard plan picker presents:
- Per Album for pay-as-you-go work
- Monthly for photographers with steady album volume
- Annual for the best long-run value
The app changes the CTA and messaging depending on state. No active plan, paused billing, overdue payment, trial expiry, and monthly-limit pressure do not share the same next step.
The Practical Rule
If the question is about payment, upgrades, canceled access, invoices, or album credits, start in Subscriptions.
If the question is about profile fields, password, notifications, or storage cleanup, start in Settings instead.
