Designing Spreads
Use the spread editor to create beautiful page layouts
What is a Spread?
A spread is a pair of facing pages in your album. The editor lets you design each spread individually.
Adding Photos to a Spread
- Select photos from the sidebar panel
- Drag them onto the spread canvas
- The layout engine automatically positions and sizes them
Auto Layout
Spreadu's smart layout engine arranges your photos automatically:
- Drop multiple photos at once for an instant layout
- The engine respects photo aspect ratios
- Layouts adapt to the number of photos
Manual Adjustments
After auto-layout, you can fine-tune:
- Move photos by dragging them
- Resize by dragging edges or corners
- Zoom into a photo by scrolling while hovering
- Pan within a photo by dragging while holding Space
Spread Navigation
- Use the spread strip at the bottom to navigate between spreads
- Click a spread thumbnail to jump to it
- Use keyboard arrows to go to the next/previous spread
